Jenelle Smith, Owner, Sparkle Works Power Washing
Hello! And welcome to my bio page.
My name is Jenelle Smith and I am running for a seat on the UAMCC Board of Directors, Member-At-Large position.
I am an owner of Sparkle Works Power Washing and have been a member of the United Association of Mobile Contract Cleaners since 2013.
I am married to Jeff Smith, the other owner of Sparkle Works Power Washing. We have 3 little minions running around, two sons ages 8 and 6 and an almost 2 year old daughter who swears she runs the house. We are blessed to call our business a true family business.
I grew up in California and spent time living in Texas and Colorado before settling in Augusta, GA where I now reside. I was a 91W (Combat Medic) for the Army and have experience in FAB metal work, massage therapy and commercial insurance and claims before starting our business in 2012. I now do power washing and sales full time, as well as helping run our part-time printing business. In every job I’ve held, I’ve always been asked to serve in positions of leadership, training and peer mentoring.
When we first joined the organization our business was very new and without the things we’ve learned in the UAMCC, as well as the friends and mentors we’ve gained, our business would not be where it is today. We believe in paying that knowledge forward and this last year I was honored to be asked to teach a class on EDDM Marketing at both the Atlanta Networking event as well as the National Convention in Charleston.
I am a member of many of the Facebook groups for power washers where I always try to help out whenever I can. I am known for being blunt and straightforward, and the upside of that is that you can always be assured you will have full honesty and integrity in everything I say and do.
Being that I am both a female and a veteran, I believe I offer a unique and pertinent skill set that would bring a fresh perspective, diversified experience and special strengths that would greatly assist in continuing the progression of the UAMCC’s role as the premier association for Power Washers.
Since first joining the UAMCC I’ve enjoyed watching it grow and continue to get better every year. I look forward to continuing to do my part to ensure that that excellence carries on and continues to skyrocket.
